Located on a 156m high hill in Athens, he hill, rocky and steep and partially accessible has a nearly flat top fortified for over 3,300 years. Monuments like the Parthenon, Erechtheion, Propylaia, and the temple of Athena Nike can be visited. The Acropolis, surviving 2,500 years of various challenges, remains a symbol of Democracy, Philosophy, Theatre, Freedom of Expression, and Speech, foundational to contemporary values.
Accessibility of the site
Acropolis is one of the most accessible landmarks in Greece. It offers visitors the option to go up to the top of the hill with elevetor, it's sourounded with ramps, accessible toilets, and much more other services.

The path to the accessible entrance has an inclination over 5% and its made of marble mosaic/ marble pieces.

Distance to the bus stop/parking is approx. 150m.

Concrete and new paths designed for accessibility, wide enough for wheelchairs and with even surfaces for a comfortable visit over the hills and on the top of the Acropolis.
