What you will do...
The tour starts in Athens and takes you through the picturesque and beautiful landscape of the Peloponnese peninsula.Your first stop is the Corinth Canal, which separates the Greek mainland from the Peloponnese. The canal spares about 400 km of sea passage around the Peloponnese, but is only passable for smaller ships.
The journey continues towards the ancient site of Olympia, the birthplace of the ancient Olympic Games. There, visit the archaeological site and the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, with a large amount of artifacts and statues and the Museum of the Olympic Games, as well. The games used to take place every 4 years from the 8th century BC to the 4th century AD.
